Introduction to touch typing
In this unit you will learn what touch typing is and what it is for, and you will learn to identify some keys without looking at the keyboard.
Hand position on the keyboard
In this unit you will learn how to place your hands on the keyboard and you will do your first practical typing exercises.
Practicing with both hands
If in the previous unit you learned to place and type with both hands separately, in this unit you will type for the first time with both hands.
Introducing G and H
In this unit we will teach you to press the letters G and H and we will practice a bit more with the home row.
Introducing keys R T Y U
In this unit we will teach you to press the letters R, T, Y and U and we will also practice with the rest of the letters learned in previous lessons.
Introducing keys V B N M
In this unit we will teach you to press the letters V, B, N and M and we will also practice with the rest of the letters learned in previous units.
Introducing keys E and I
In this unit we will teach you to press two new keys with the middle finger and we will also practice with the rest of the letters learned in previous units.
Introducing C and the comma
In this unit we will teach you to press the keys C and comma, again with the middle finger. We will also practice with the rest of the letters from previous units.
W and O
In this unit we will teach you to press the keys W and O. As always, we will also practice with the rest of the letters learned in previous units.
X and the period (.)
In this unit we will teach you to press the keys X and the period. As always, we will also practice with the rest of the letters learned in previous units.
Q and P
In this unit we will teach you to press the keys Q and P. We will also practice with the rest of the letters learned in previous units.
Z and the hyphen
In this unit we will teach you to press the keys Z and -. We will also practice with the rest of the letters learned in previous units.
Capital letters
In this unit we will teach you how capital letters work on the keyboard.
Accents and diaeresis
In this unit we will teach you how to add accents to vowels and as always we will do several practical exercises.
Numbers
In this unit you will learn to press the numbers on the top row of the keyboard and you will do several practical exercises.
Symbols I
In this unit you will learn to press several of the symbols on the keyboard and you will do several practical exercises with them.
Symbols II
In this unit you will learn to type some more symbols using the touch typing technique we have been teaching you. As always, there will be practical exercises.
