Since these exercises will get harder little by little I will give you some tips to help. Here comes the first tip:

Typing correctly is very important

Try to do the exercises placing your hands as indicated and without making mistakes. Take the time you need for each exercise.

To be able to write fast over time it is important to learn to type without errors. Each mistake you make requires, at minimum, pressing two more keys (delete the last wrong letter and press the correct key). That means each error equals pressing 3 keys instead of 1 in the best case. In the worst case, if you do not notice you made a mistake, you will keep typing and later have to delete many keys to fix it. Obviously this is not good.
