Other Resources
I'm sure that this online typing website will be very useful for the 99% of the users,
but at the end, the aim of this website is to help you to become a good typist,
so if you think that this tutorial does not cover all your needs,
I'll try to recommend other typing software out there
Following there is a list of some typing software out there:
- AlfaTyping: Free. Online. Registration Required. Internet Explorer only.
- Custom Typing: $6 a month. Online. Registration Required. Typing games. Statistics. Not too bad.
- Good Typing: Free. Online. Multiple languages. Old interface. Not too bad.
- KTouch: GNU. Free. Linux. Various layouts and languages. Statistics. Not bad election if you use linux.
- Peter's Online Typing Course: Free. Online. Complete set of lessons. Good exercises. I like the concept.
- Stamina Typing Tutor: Windows. Free. Alternative finger positioning. Statistics. Good ;)
- Typing Master: About $30. Software. A competitor, but one that I admire.
- Type Online: Free. Online. 5 basic lessons. Good illustrations.
- Typing Web: About $24. Online. Registration Required. I've seen the screenshots and I don't like very much, but I didn't tested, so nothing more to say.
